Annual BFCC meet will be happening in Glasgow (exact location to be confirmed) on Sunday 14th September 2014, open to all.

So ..... the new location for this year is in Fintry, a few miles up the road from Carron Valley Reservoir and beside the Endrick?

Pop in past Culcreuch Castle and you will drive past the most famous and iconic carp water in Scotland...shame the hotel decided to not renew the SCG lease on it :(

Even the late and great Richard Walker fished it in the 60's. One of the last places in the UK to have truely natural "Wild carp".

Can you still fish it?  You should come down to the meet, should be good providing the weather holds (usually doesn't for that weekend).

As for going, thats a training weekend for me so no can do.

Rest assured, while you lot have fun, I will be making sure you sleep safely in your beds at night! ;)
