Another great week for the buzzer anglers and fish even began to take the dry fly when conditions suited toward the weekend.Saturday was a perfect fishing day which anglers dream about. The fish were taking in the surface film of the water and suspender buzzers and buzzers were taking as fish cruised feeding around the margins and the takes were fierce followed by determanation not to come to the net. This was angling at its best.Lures did work when the weather changed and it was the budgie which came out top on these occasions.Plenty of hard fighting Blues were taken and Tigers featured well this week. The best of the fish fell to young angler 17 years old Jamie Scobbie who landed his biggest fish ever at 14lbs 4ozs to make a bag weight of 20lbs 9ozs for 3 fish.Other notable returns this week were Bill Ives with a nice fish of 4lb 14ozs,IanMunro with 12 fish,George Scobie,no relation had a good fish of 4lb 9ozs among his 8 fish,Paul Sharp had a superb day with 25 on buzzers,Sean Petrie had 10 on buzzers,Neil scowen had 12 on a budgie,Dave Simpson had 13 on a flapper, those who had 8 fish were,Gordon Hadden,George Stewart,Tom Anderson,Billy Thompson,George Scobie and Geoff Hakin. Most other anglers had between 3 and 7 fish for their sessions and averages were really good this week as the best of the fishing gets closer and nights get longer. Our osprey returned ,albeit 5 days late, but is now back safe and sound.

Coarse loch
Fish are starting to move around more now as the water warms a little.Bob jackson did well onmeat with a good bag of roach, rudd, gudgeon, bream and a mirror carp around 3lb.Dave latty had a mixed bag of roach and skimmers and Craig Donaldson on his first cast on pellet had a Carp of 4lbs and  also roach for his day.

The trout master fish off was won By Gary Gormley and it wa stight with only 1 ounce seperating first and second.Gary had 10 fish for his day with boat partner Neil Simpson on 9 fish. Here it was again the buzzers doing the work as fish when spooned were full of snail but also feeding well on the top. With the banks being all tree lined fish are waiting for any insect to fall before they are scooped up and again when hooked are bending anglers rods double and not coming to the net easy.Other returns this week were,Nicky Bremner 5,Chris Roberts 4,George Cowie 3,Dan Roberts 2,Dave Leitch 7 and 4,Craig Rowan 5,Kev Middlemiss 4,Michael Fenion 7 and Don McPherson 3.
