Translucent Bloodworm

Playing around with a red pantone pen and some uv varnish in an attempt to produce a see through bloodworm pattern (ok one has an orange glow brite thorax with red pen and uv varnish over).  Used the Partridge Czech Nymph Heavy hook for these, really like the shape and weight of these hooks and have started tying a few different flies on them including snatchers

Worked ok and they'll certainly catch fish, however i'll need to work on the varnish skills to get a more uniform 'profile' but worth the effort i feel.

Allan,
looks good, this would work for all manner of buzzer patterns. I think that I will have a stab at these myself. That would be a great pattern in black with red thorax or olive with red thorax for those limestone loch troots.
