hey Mike,
they're borderline gimmick at first but really nice for trout-type fishing. the Vivarelli is crap. get this instead http://www.thinkfishworld.com/web/en/producto/bold/
jeroen has one, i'm sure he'll chime in with a good review :)

Not used one Mike, but I do fancy one.
Actually, one of these

Not cheap but stylish!

Hi Jim,

Best for a #5 to #7 in my experience ...... but might possibly be OK on a #4 :z16

I can see how they could be useful when big fish chaos ensues. Would have to have play before I made my mind up.

I'll have a demo that you can borrow and try guys :z16

Two spools, so which lines and weights would you like on as demos?

Cheers

Careful Mike, you might do yourself out of a Barrio reel sale by doing this!  :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4

These reels feel a bit strange when you first use them, but they are great for retrieving your line quickly and for line management so that you don't fish with loads of line round your ankles

Feels even stranger when you go back to reels with winding handles afterwards though :z4

Available from our website soon .......... :wink

Cheers

For this time of year I suggest 5w floating and inter or 5 and 7 weight floaters.

Yes, I think a WF5F and a WF7F cream GT125 would probably be best for most folk to try Noel :z16

I'll get them spooled up when somebody fancies taking the demo reel for a spin.

Cheers

I have tried the Mitchell and the Martin and I found them both heavy, the Mitchell is about 1/2lb, I saw a guy rip his of his rod and hurl it into the loch after having problems with it,easgach 1

That's a great price Mike.

What is the verdict on the Thinkfish Bold: I'm guessing favourable otherwise you wouldn't be stocking it
