I've very, very much enjoyed using the tan coloured Smallstream 4wt this year - the colour reminds me of my old Mallards. Not entirely sure that a Smallstream was designed to be used on a 10 foot rod, but it's been my go to combo this year, been with me every step of the river season (and that's a lot of steps this year!).

I am interested in a couple of Your Smallstream lines. Just one question:
What is the weight of the head for each line number?
I mean, do they pack the AFFTA standard for 30' in their 24' long heads?

Hi Aitor,

Yes, that's the basic idea of this line profile, fit the AFFTA standard weights within the shorter head in relation to the amount of line that is likely to be aerialised in the conditions that the line is likely to be fished ...... and designing that head so that it is balanced, rather than clunky
