Wish I could but instead running HM Coastguard stand at the Portsoy Traditional Boat Festival  :wink:  It's a hard life  :cool:

Hamish, I dont suppose you have any info on Lifeboats do you? My wee one is doing a project on the RNLI and is desperate to meat a real live lifeboat man..lol

Are you at Portsoy Sat and Sun? It would be saturday we would come as we are watching Shrek on sunday thanks to free tickets :)

rob theres also a fish and ships thing on in buckie on friday fae 5-8pm there cookin a huge paella down harbour and theres free whisky flavoured ice cream tours of the lifeboats and meet cox+crew stuff like that i think theres stuff on a week

l went to the Game Fair on the Saturday with my good lady, enjoyed watching the guy in the kilt doing the casting, he is ok  :z5
l didnt think there was as many fishing stalls as 2 years ago, but they were ok.  Went in to the Lakeland Flytying tent and tested out the Danielsson Original reels, they are great  :z4
Had a few casts with the JustCast rods, amazing  :z4

All in all had a good day again

It was pretty good alot better weather than last year, i agree with Tam there wasnt so many fishing stalls this year which was a bit dissapointing but appart from that good day out and the red arrows at the end were amazing.
