Glen of Rothes trout and coarse Fishery

An interesting week where fish really turned onto feeding and resulted in some very good returns for anglers.Surface and just under have produced many fish especially on Kate Mclarens which was the fly of the week without any doubts.Daddies came in at a close second, fished on a floating line.Buzzers also worked fished on a washing line set up and there was plenty of good fish among the numbers being caught.Ronnie Ewen had a 33 fish session on Kates and greenwell spiders with his first fish a 5 lb Tiger trout and he also landed 2 Browns just over 2lbs each,Dan McGlaughlin had a 9 lb fish,Len Davidson had 12 wit a 6lb rainbow,Alec Brown 13,James Rennie had a few outings with 9,16 and 5 fish and among them a 10 lb fish,Peter Kay had a nice 5lb 2ozs fish,Jim Eddie a 9lb fish,Gordon Grant had 22 fish on kates and spiders,William Hutchinson had an 8lb fish on a bibio,Scott Parker had 9 fish withhis best at 10lb on black pennells,John Main had a good day with 13 fish,Chris Johnston a 6lber.Best of the week was Kev Middlemiss with  8 fishand a 3 fish bag for 18lbs 2ozs,fish of 8lbs 6ozs,5lb 2ozs and 4lbs8ozs making up his bag.Ian Savage had a good second outing with a fish of 7lbs 7ozs and Neil Smith had 13 fish with his best at 7lbs 10ozs.

Coarse Loch

Scott Arthur had an all night session which was eventfull ,targetting the Carp and using 12m krill boilies he had some good carp to 5lbs 3ozs and lost a double which dived for reeds during a night time tussle and was lost.Other anglers continued through the week with good mixed bags of skimmers, bream ,roach and rudd and plenty of them which is good to see,Paul Witkowski and his father had bream to 3lbs among their bags using feeders with maggot and pellets.Eels also showed up often in catches this week.

Millbuies trout fishery

Reflecting the Glen, plenty of fish were caught this week by anglers and it was again small and black which did the job.Fish are continuing to move well close to the top and taking hard.

here is somepictures taken from our night cameras at the fishery hope you enjoy them as much as we do taking them.

Yup pity I missed you the other night Kevin.  Plenty surface action anyway and my wee dries scored well.
