Over the last coupke of weeks there has been some good sport on both the fly and coarse lochs.

On the main loch the best flies at the moment have been hares ears, buzzers, hoppers daddys.  Some of the better catches include mike donalson from peterhead who had 10 brownies on dries on a late evening session, all bar one were over a pound and a half with the biggest at 3lb. Chris Wright from newburgh had 10 about 3 1/2lb on black buzzers John and denis Brown had 10 between them in a morning upto 6lb10oz.

On the coarse loch john Lawler has been the most sucessfull with reqular bags around 20mixed including plenty of carp. Most successful baits has been maggots, pellets and sweetcorn with a ground baits including hemp pulling the fish in. Colin Murry had his first session on the coarse loch and landed 4 mirror carp between 2 and 3 pound.

Please Note that fraserburgh anglers have fully booked the fly loch for the whole of saturday the 16th, but the coarse loch will be open as normal were you could have a go a fly fishing for the carp and other coarse fish if you fancy.
