Crackin trip guys (promise to post pics when i get them off the camera) and highly reccomend it to all who fancy a bash at 'The Loch.'

Sat eve was actually the better session and although the 'Curly Bums'  (buzzers) were absent the Caenis hatch was biblical and the fish responded as you'd expect.  Dries scored (if a little frustrating) and managed to boat three fish one at 1lb 4oz, one at 2lb 3oz and one at 3lb 10oz.

Sunday morning and i managed another six between 8 to 12 oz.

Still knackered.

Big one on a Black and Pearly Snatcher (the one on this months FFFT  :wink) and all the rest on my wee Bibio Emerger  :z16

Worth a run down again over the next wee while guys especially as the Buzzers should be making an appearance anytime soon.  Check out the Leven reports.

Going to make this a wee annual even so if anyone's interested then watch the Outcasts section.

Allan

PS the most unbelievable bit was the fact i only shared the loch with one other boat in the dawn session, fish bumping on the top and only one other angler out, but come the day sess, plenty anglers buzzing about the car park.  Maybe these guys prefer it when it's hard?  :z4

Alan,
I have not fished Leven since the introduction of rainbows but I am up for a forum visit anytime.

Completely different water now than the bad old days of the rainbow stockings.  Happy to put a trip up next season guys.
