Hamish smashes the Haddo record
« on: 07/06/2007 at 01:23 »

Hi folks

Hamish Young has smashed the long standing Haddo record, which was held by Kevin Neri

Kevin set the record when he caught 40 fish in four hours!
But today .......... Hamish netted 51 trout in 4 hours  :z14

Well done Hamish  :z16
Best wishes
Mike Barrio

But Beware ........ do not think that this is easy to achieve, there were other anglers on the water both today and yesterday that netted 3 fish or less for their session

It was an awesome day, especially pleasing as over 30 of the fish came to a very small dry fly on a #3wt fly rod :z16

It was fun fun fun  :z4

That was me  I was busy herding fish towards Hamish with my shocking casting.

I had a great day though, Mike, thanks very much.

Wow, well done Hamish!

I gather you had four hours of catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and catch and release and so on and so on. I'm getting tired even typing this!

Jeroen,

Typing!Typing! Tired!

Never heard of cut/paste/copy. Hamish has learned about it.

Well done though Hamish . Must have been a great day.
