Fish were closer to the surface for the first half of the week and as the colder spell took hold went down a little and damsels began to take fish.Occasionally when the sun was there suspender buzzers and okey dokeys in lime and white ,fished about 5feet down worked well for anglers.Overall it was a good week of fishing for anglers with Chris Johnston landing an 11lb fish,Nicky Bremner had a 6lber in his 9 fish,Colin Moffet had a good day with 10 fish and weighed in a bag of 3 for 15lb 7ozs with a 4lb 8oz,5lb 6oz and a 5lb 8ozs fish.George Stewart had a 5 lber,David Dutie had a 6lber,Neil Smith a 4lb 2oz in his 7 fish,Dave Simpson a 4lb 3oz among his 10 fish,Willie Meldrum had 7 with his best at 4lb 6oz,George Downing had a good fish of 6lb 8ozs and Tom Anderson had 10 fish for his session.Blues featured well for anglers with John Seller taking a one at 3lb 8ozs,Al Clark a 3lb 7oz,Charles Cohen another nice blue,SteveMckenzie had 10 fish with a nice Brownie and Richard Smith had 7 with a brownie and also a fish of 4lb 2ozs.

The coarse loch fished very well with better weather and Paul Nash was gaining fish on nearly every cast once they were on the feed.Red Maggot was the bait and he ended with a good bag of fish of roach,Rudd and ide to a good size,Bob Jackson also did well with his bag of roach,Rudd and Carp upto 2lb 8ozs.Both pole and waggler methods worked.

Cheers Kev. I have used these in the past but had got the last lot through a tackle shop in Dundee.

Hope to be up soon, just trying to get a whole day to myself rather than the snatched couple of hours here and there as it is at the moment.

Nice to hear you are getting some action on the coarse pond though!
