Sunray shadow - a question
« on: 25/04/2013 at 09:49 »
On another forum someone has asked a question about the Brooks Sunray Shadow which I cannot answer fully so I  thought I might ask more or less the same question here......

Does anyone know definitively which year Ray Brooks tied the first Sunray Shadow :?

I do know that he tied it first in Norway and most probably when he was fishing the Laerdal. That makes the date some point the early to mid '60s, but there my knowledge/guesswork ends.

Anyone :z8

H

This could be true, Pity he didn't state the actual Year. But i suppose some things get forgotten in the mist of time.

That's all the moderators confirming that they haven't deleted anything Rob :z16

It must have been a forum glitch, it has been playing up a bit today, sorry about that.

Interesting you should mention that Mr B, between cursing at the Alfa today I have had some difficulty 'finding' the forum plus the occasional problem once logged in.
Hmmmmm  :z10

His post disappeared while i was writing my reply earlier, i saw it go, it was quite odd.

I wondered if Esox rob was perhaps fed up with Salar rob and decided to delete his post  :wink

You never know......................
