I was going to wait until midnight before I posted anything but the chances are that I will be a bit worse for wear in 5 hours (so will Allan, I suspect  ) so I thought it best not to offend anyone at the start of the year.

And your casts be long.

Whatever happens this year, just fish. I haven't over the last few years and my life is worse off because I haven't. Fish Haddo, fish the Highlands, fish the salt, fish the rivers - just FISH!
