Artloch Report

We're now seeing many rising fish and top water anglers have been searching their boxes for that magic fly, but at times the fish were the winners.   Small dries have been very productive and while certain wets and various nymphs have attracted a lot of attention, some lures have also proven successful.
A Hood released a good fish at around the 12 lbs mark and AC Thomson weighed in a good 8lbs 2ozs bow.  D Brown tempted 10, best at 8, while N Hart and P Guy both released 12, best at 5lbs,  S Ray tempted 14, best at 6lbs while J Rennie released 15, best at 4lbs.   Top rod went to R Ewen, whose frequent changing brought him 23, including fish at 11lbs 2 ozs, 2 at circa 8 lbs, 1 x 6lbs and 1 x 5lbs.

If you're not fishing, then enjoy the sunshine................
