Noah waste of time at Lochter

The contrast of the bright frosty days of last week then the deluge of rain may have had the more pessimistic googling;-‘Arks- construction of’. However, anglers, due to the nature of their sport tend towards unfailing optimism and so those that did cast a line were well rewarded with good sport and some splendid fighting fish.
Alan Logan had over 20 fish brought to the net using small nymphs fished slowly and he described it in the returns book as his ‘best ever day’. Also using a nymph but this time the Montana variant was Bill Thomson who had 7 for his day.
Buzzers were also popular and B Gray netted 6 using black ones, Ray Reid from Aberdeen had 5 on a buzzer and bloodworm combination and Dave Murray had 4 using a buzzer and a black lure.
Derek Fowler used a little devil lure and comorant combination to get 6 fish on a white zuddler and Dave Simpson from Aberdeen had 4 fish on pink and budgie blobs.
With milder weather forecast for the week ahead it will ensure that we will be free opf ice and that you can continue to enjoy the excellent winter fishing conditions.
Just a reminder that over the Festive Period we will be open except for, Christmas Day/Boxing Day and 1st and 2nd January.
Merry Christmas!!
