For sale is a custom built (by me) Sage TCX 9ft 5wt 4pc flyrod.

The rod comes with an alloy tube and original Sage bag. It was built to a very high spec with custom cork an REC spalted maple and Nickel anodised alloy reel seat. It has a genuine Cermet butt ring (no longer available in sensible sizes ) and Recoil single leg guides. This is a great Fishing and casting tool, a bit more forgiving than the TCR but still with plenty of balls to get you in the zone. It was built with casting in mind and the butt ring is slightly oversize and the tip quite small, for better shooting. I've always thoroughly enjoyed fishing with this rod. It is in superb condition and you would not be dissappointed at the improvements over a standard factory rod.

I just have way too many great rods sitting doing nothing

If the handle is not to your taste I can fit a brand new STD rev1/2 wells grip.
All that would change is the rod would come in a plain bag and a Cordura tube.
I can't say fairer than that, the rod is a bargain for what it is.
