put up a proper post! Introducing myself or something.

Well I'm Ross, I've been fishing for soo many years I've forgotten, ok well 18 (I'm 23). I started off down in Dalgety Bay, working my way up to sunny Mintlaw and now I can be found haunting the beats at Monymusk with the odd occasion on my local (Ugie and sometimes the Ythan).

I'm only a trout fisherman! Never been Salmon fishing before but ho hum!

On a final note, my rig is a light setup with a Redington Core Perfromance 9'6 (6/7) Rod, and a Snowbee Prestige 560 Reel.

Cheers,
Ross

Hi Ross

Welcome to the forum, I think Rob was refering to the line weight.
Lots of lightline (3-5) nuts on here, a few bamboo addicts too.
But everyone is welcome to join in.
I've fished the ugie a fair few times for trout, great fun, in fact am moving up that way later in the year, so intend to fish it more.

Good to have you onboard
