Me too - despite the crazy wind, Noel and I had great fun. Lots of brownies keen to come to the flies just subsurface. Cracking day.

The highlight (or lowlight) was a series of 3 or 4 casts with one or two brownies turning at, chasing and nipping the flies each time... no hook-ups but exciting fishing. Course, when I examined the fly later and found that it had snapped at the hook bend the reason for lack of hook ups became clear... doh!!!

cheers

ps Skidd - if you want a shot of the switch rod sometime, just drop me a PM

As always a great day at Haddo,

Every fish perfect and exciting to see the markings on all the types of brownies.  I think the silvered fish fight harder....Salmo Levensis??

Cheers,

Skidd
