Plenty of good fishing around this week wit dry fly working when conditions suited,otherwise it was a change toward lures such as dancers,tadpoles and fritz patterns to locate a fish.Kevin Howell had 11 on an olive cdc,Andy fraser had 17 on snatchers,George Stewart had 11 on grey wullfs and returned a Blue of around 7 lb,Chris Mcallister had 18 on buzzers,Bryan Cameron had 14 on white fritz,Gordon Grant 15 on cdc,s,Si neely had 10 and returned a 7 lb fish.the Royal British Legion enjoyed a day out with plenty of fish caught of which a 12lb fish was returned.All names for the All night competition need to be in by Sunday the 10th June ready for the competition on the 16th/17th for catering arrangements.

Tuition is available at the Fishery with qualified Instructor Kevin Dawson and booked at the fishery each day..Fly tying lessons will be available in the evening at the fishery starting monday 11th June and thursdays starting at 7 pm.Children welcome.Fishing available after lessons optional. Contact the fishery for full details. Why not come and learn to tie your flies and have a fish with them and catch on your own fly.
