Can hardly wait. We have all of Monymusk above Sir A's beat booked for 21st April for a wild fishing forum outing and my season ticket for Alford is already burning hole in my pocket. Was out on the Deveron last week, great hatch of olives, plenty of free rising fish but nothing bigger than 1/2lb for me. Allan was out a few days after me and had several 3 lb + fish. Let's hope this is the shape of things to come. Great having so many good rivers close by, one might get blasé about it. Not me though, my feet are in firm contact with mother earth!
