.....one other thing, the fishing on a Sunday is naturally quieter anyway as most people it seems tend to spend this day with their families. I don't !  :z2

I think that Sunday fishing for Brownies could be justified for many of the reasons stated in earlier posts and naturally I would insist on c&r.

The tourists present another dilemma however. They live with enough pressure and I for one would be happy to see them get the day off so to speak. I am unsure how the Sunday ban could be amended/lifted here in Scotland and given the netsmans interest( where it exists)  in these fish  I am sure that they would be looking to exploit any change should it come to pass. The weekend ' slap' , when observed , currently gives these fish a break . Status quo for tourists is my feeling.
