Yo Rob, I'm a "four eyed" flyfisherman  :z4 and I can't do anything without my specs.!

I found a great Polaroid in the Cocoon selection!!
Super!!
I strongly recommend the Cocoon specs wich fit perfect over your "normal" glasses!!

I also found Cocoons :) Pretty good but not perfect. I once held some very expensive "blue water" polaroids over my normal goggles and I was truely stunned at the depth I could clearly see...whilst Cocoons only showed half the detail. Might have been lense colour though.

Dear Rob
Perhaps I have to change my opinion about the Cocoons what "see trough" options concerns, but I've never found a better "fit over specs" yet so far
The Cocoons suits me satisfactive enough so far, but it's true, there are better "see trough" polaroids in the market unfortunately they're not fitting over my normal specs!! :z12

Until I dont find better ones to fit over, I'll stick to my pair of Cocoons as second best choice!

I've thought of an easier way out of this question Liam;

My most important piece of equipemnt is....my fishing vest!  Without it, I wouldn't be able to carry all my floatant, sinkant, tools, gadgets, unguents, leader spools, tippets, flies, snips, forceps, fags, lighter, cameraphone, net, brown polaroids, yellow polaroids...etc etc :X2

A sure thing Ewan!
But now I really think of it....
Its the whole set up!!
Man cant do without (a complete yet overfilled!!) vest!, without waders!!!, without rod'n reel!, etc etc...
There are simply too many unmisseble objects!!

A great fishing mate!!
After a session....
A good pub where they serve nice food and a sturdy pint!!

 :z4 Sure Ewan!
Nothing beats the warmth of a good pub after a day's session on a good stretch wit a couple of equally minded mates!

Got some tips for me, for nice river trout fishing in Scotland?

I might go in August/September (if I can find the time for it this year!)

Cheers

The River Don is a great river to start with Jan, especially for Brown Trout.  Probably the best Brown Trout river in the NE of Scotland.

Last year, I spent a couple of days fishing the Don at Monymusk and stayed in the Grant Arms Hotel in Monymusk which has good accomodation, food and beers!  :z18

This website has an excellent set of pages dedicated to trout fishing on the Don and many forum members are experts.

I second that Jan. River Don holds some impressive trout and Grant Arms is a very good place to stay  :z16 And as a bonus, Haddo is not far away!
Let me know if and when you need some extra info.
