River Farrar, Near Beauly, Trout fishing
« on: 06/02/2012 at 22:56 »
I am staying near Beauly in June and was hoping to sneak off to do an afternoon through to late evening's trout fishing. I'd much prefer river fishing and my quick Interweb searches have somewhat surprisingly turned up that the River Farrar near Glen Affric is actually supposed to be a quite decent Brown Trout river as is the River Glass in to which it flows. Only about a tenner for a day ticket for trout so seems really reasonable.

Has anyone fished either of these for Brownies, and if so anygood and any tips regarding which stretches ? Anywhere else ?

Cheers,

Lindsay
