There is no float tubing, only three boats. I'm not sure of the stocking "policy", last year I think there was only two or perhaps three stocks. However, I had some great days there last year. Choose a day when there is no wind otherwise the fish hide on the bottom and are difficult to tempt and don;t be put off by sunny days, the fish don't seem to be bothered that much. I regard Glentanar as a dry fly loch; the water is crystal clear with a slight whiskey colouration to it and the fish will come to a dry fly from a long way away.
