Here's a few of my first flees, photography is shite but think the flies are ok.

They look well in bright orange as well. I've come up with lots of " unconventional " flies i'm waiting to get out and give them a go, the reason I started to tie was that I was getting annoyed with shop patterns and wanted more of a variety.

There not much point in me commenting as my flies are 'pants'.  :z4

I agree that they are very good for first attempts and would all catch fish, no question.

The 1st hopper is really good and the Proctoresque spiders, although impressive, are all to indicative of the new tier who has a limited supply of materials - a softer hen hackle would have transformed those flies into crackers.

Very Well done and keep at it. :z16

Thanks for the comments, you are very correct. I just spent a few quid in the tackle shop on a few bits to get me going. I've been looking through some websites for different materials to tie better flies/ variations. My problem is knowledge ( not got a scoobie whats good for what ). Don't worry I will be back with improvements.
