I got a late Christmas present from Kevin yesterday, all hand made and far too good not to photograph and post.  My photography skills are at best quite shit and do not do the items justice (must see Noel about some lessons).

You ain't doin' it right until your tool gets whipped...
Hamish loves it and I can do without it...

I also think the "wax pot" looks more like vaseline 
Something you ain't tellin' us??

Note to Kev - lovely work mate, really lovely. Now I know what you do with wood I'll keep my eyes open for more odds and ends. I have some curly birch bits and I may have some more oak. I'll let you know.

It has inspired me to give it a go myself, see what you think.................



There's a whip finish tool and dubbing twister, all components were just lying around, easy!

The whip finish tool has an old door stop taped over the exposed thread, I could have sawn off the offending piece but wanted something safe and  pleasing to the eye.
