Cass was fishing for Redfish over in Galveston (I think it was there, Texas way anyway) and said it was great fun on "cutbait". Looks even better with the fly.

Great stuff.

Ewan, unfortunately they taste too good. Apparently in the 80's a celebrity chef did a landmark recipe for Blackened Redfish, which some people think exacerbated the over-fishing of reds. which declined quite a bit in that decade.

Looks like they may have recovered a bit though?
