Weekend grayling options
« on: 30/11/2011 at 07:30 »
I have a free weekend as wifes off to Angola on friday for a week  :grin

Planning on a couple of days grayling fishing. However driving up from glasgow yesterday every river i passed had burst it banks  :z6

Im guessing i would have to head south and book into a b&b or hotel. question is how far south?  I notice Annan and Tweed are up but have no idea if they will be fishable by the weekend as not fished either.  Have not fished any rivers south of the tay so any suggestions would be welcome.

Cheers

Sorry Michael, I can't help with that one. I saw a few photos of the rivers down the road, they certainly must have had an awful lot more rain than we've had up here! :shock

Best wishes

Annan and Eden are out for the next few days (Annan was well over 3' up at the upper reaches this morning). Winds at the weekend are forecast for mis 20-30mph so wi wouldn't waste my time
