delgatie castle trout fishery

A windy week last week at Delgatie which made for some difficult conditions, often too windy for the boats to go out anglers made the most of the bank fishing and while most anglers returned bags of between 2 and 6 fish some faired a bit better.
Whitehills angler R McKay landed 30 fish which fell for his blob and nomad combination while L Baxter had a good session in very windy conditions to land 17 to 4.8lb on a white fritz. I Armstrong banked 13 to 4lb on a damsel and K Gillies boated 12 to 6lb on one of the calmer days. A Anderson had 10 to 3lb, A Gower had 10 to 6.8lb and P Green had 10 to 11.2lb while T Novak bagged 9 to 8lb on a bunny leech. Both M Smith and B Reid landed 8 on lures while A Crawford landed two fish around 10lb on a black fritz.
