Haddo Trout Fishery ( to October 24th )
« on: 24/10/2011 at 23:56 »
Hi Folks

Watson's Bumble, Deer Hair Emergers, Claret Bumble, Snatchers, Klinks, Spiders, Pearly Pennell, Crunchers, Okey Dokeys and a wee Cats Whisker were all productive fly choices at Haddo this week. A week where the swirls, pulls and splashes at our flies were not easy to convert.

Ewan Lindsay netted a dozen fish up to 3 lb for his session, Dave Davies had 12 up to 2 lb, Ian Brown 11 up to 5 lb and Alex Burnett tempted 11 fish up to 3 lb. Steven Kidd released the largest trout of the week, a cracking Brown estimated to be somewhere between 8 and 10 lbs.

I was fishing in a boat not far away , it was a good fish and gave a good scrap .  :z16
Wonder why it ignored my offerings?   :cry
