OK, as we appear to have lost some posts/threads thought I would re-post this video I found on another forum:

I quite fancy one of those cameras.....

Now that's right up my proverbial alley.

Anyone know what type of video cam that might have been? I know Somers were selling the glasses cam type things but it looks as if it may have been mounted around the chest area.

These homemade vid's are very in vogue and cool  :z16

Not yet but I've selected the cycle shop in the UK that I'll buy it from.
Planning to buy it in February.

Now I know there is a recession and all but the reason that I now work for a guv'ment funded school is that some people won't employ a professional film crew :mad

I mean, shit, I could do this asleep, but no, you won't keep a roof over my head and my kids fed. No no, you have to try and find some cheap solution and keep the money in your own pockets.

Mike, this is why I couldn't come to Haddo for so long. This is why I don't have that many expensive rods and fancy reels. Why I can only afford Assynt once a year.

Never heard of HD TV?????

People like you have ruined me!!!!

 :wink :wink :wink :wink :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4 :z4

I will say though that I like the video and any help I can give, I will. You can screw the TV game, cos they're a bunch of backstabbers that slit their own throats. This is about fishing, FFS.

I'd be a bigger alcoholic if I was still in that game anyway so small mercies...
If any advice is ever sought on sound for video, just ask. I still have a lot of my own gear to record good (excellent) sound so just let me know. Prices are in pints, bourbon or wine (just like Janice)

Euan,
you TV lovvies have ruined things for yourselves.
My parents hired Ted Brocklebank and Arthur Montford for my primary 3 school sports day & due to a contractual missunderstanding coupled with some legal smallprint they are now, ahem, 20 years later, close to finishing the payments.

I spoke to STV recently on how I might assist my parents financialy with the debt & if they should up their payments, all I received was an e-mail saying  "NO , UP YOURS!"

Iain,

That does sound like a standard STV response. They are so penniless these days that I'm surprised that the original contract didn't have you being sold into slavery.
Never too late I suppose... :z7

GoPro 2 sourced and delivered.

Not much cheapness but hopefully will be worth it.
