Was looking for a gye net whats your recommendations not fussed about weighing nets as got a pocket scales.
Looking for an all round use net river/fishery.

If you are near huntly drop in past artloch, thats where the Sharpes nets are made, hadf some baragin nets in the hut last time I was there.
They are good nets.

Yeah, what Jim said.
I've had a seatrout net for over 14 years now and it's as good as the day I bought it.
Sharpes stuff isn't cheap but it is VERY well made

One of the lost posts was mine Dave.

Basically I was saying that I bought a Sharpe's Folding Boat Net from Somer's in Aberdeen last year (I believe it was a model made specifically for Somer's) and it fell apart after two days.    I replaced it with a McLeans and I'm very happy with it.  All my nets are now McLeans (I particularly like their weigh nets).  In my experience McLean's nets are well designed, manufuactured and are built to last.
