A bit short notice but I'll ask anyway.

Off to  Scone with family for the week tomorrow morning (mon), as I've only got a 9ft single handed rod I was wondering if there was place to hire tackle?
Thinking of trying my hand at salmon so wondered if there was anywhere with a ghillie for a novice like me.

Go into perth and ask in the fishing shop (P.D Malloch's) , very friendly and pretty sure they will have lots of first hand info to help you out!

Failling that the Earn is just 15 mins down the road and you could always get in amongst the grayling or have a blast at the salmon if there is availability, sandy the ghillie is a nice chap and also very helpfull
