Saw this today, it just reminded me of the Broonies in the Don, perhaps Mr De Young has met them too?

Now wheres the piggy bank.........................

I wouldn't fish with that, couldn't for paranoia about scratching it.  Very nice although I still think I'd prefer a brown trout print.

That's not fish, it's foul  :shock
Good grief, if I spent a large sum of money on a nice rod (about to) there is no freaking way I'd stick THAT on one end!

Guess I'm just old.

Yuk!

Mate, you like Scott rods and invisible fly lines so I'd say your taste is at best, questionable.  You don't get to vote on this one  :z7

That's proper fishing bling so it is :shock

Sort of thing you keep in a cupboard and take out on a dull day to brighten the room a little (or a lot) :shock :wink
Naturally, I wouldn't say no if I was given one (duh :!) but would settle for a 'calmer' finish myself if I had muckle deep pockets and was buying one new.

Nevertheless, another fine piece of craftsmanship anodising from Abel.

I will have to post some pics of my Abel.  I forget how many rippings I have taken for it over the years   :z5

If memory serves me corectly Mike has seen it up at Haddo a few times.

People can say what they like about it's colour scheme but they definately cant fault the quality of it  :z12
