Work out which general type of clouds they are for yourselves

Nice photos Ewan, I saw some similar formations up here in Inverness-shire but didn't have my camera with me

Hint.... the clouds in question are (IMHO) reasonably typical of the passage of the 'back end' of a weather front with a slightly unusual trailing edge.
