After a few quiet weeks at pitfour things have started to pick up with good days being had by thoose that have ventured out, lures have remained the best catching flies with the traditional patterns still catching plenty
some of the better bags have included Ron Reid taking home 4 fish for 9lb12oz and Arthur Finie had 6 taking 4 home for 15lb6oz, Graham Gauld had 13 including 8 blues upto 4lb 8. Alan Simpson had 3 upto 5lb while Mike Donaldson had 3 with his best being a 6lb8oz Blue. Mike Goodbrand had 7 including a 6 lb blue while john buchan had 6 rainbows up to 7lb 8 and a blue at 6lb Andy Elliot had 16 all on a WSW(a little battered by the end of the day) up to 9lb.
