Haddo Trout Fishery ( to September 26th )
« on: 27/09/2011 at 17:34 »
Hi folks

We are seeing some Autumn influence at Haddo now, although the fish are still rising quite well and many are being tempted by dries, they are also starting to take more interest in wets and nymphs. Dry Greenwells, Klinks, CDCs, Snatchers, Spiders, Golden Olive Bumbles, Pearly Invictas, Bibios and various small nymphs in white or black have been on the menu.

Alex Burnett enjoyed a good session with 16 Brownies up to 5 lb, Michael Troup had 11 up to 4 lb, Graham Walls 10 up to 3 lb and Liam Stephen netted 10 fish up to 4 lb.

Best wishes
Mike

Usually against the rules to lift a fish out of the water, but I asked Alex to do it for this photo :wink
