Too Close to Call in Lochter Summer League.
With only one leg to go it is all to play for in the EM Diagnostics Summer League at Lochter Fishery Oldmeldrum. At Sundays penultimate heat the pairing of Chris McAllister and Keith Crockett came out on top ahead of Tyler Hay and Andy Barrowman with Kevin Neri and John Brown close up in third. The drama will be resolved at the final on Sunday 9th of October when the prize money of £1000 will be awarded to the top teams.
This week has seen plenty of fish being caught and again a wide variety of methods being successfully employed. T Wood and M Mair got the week of to a good start with seven and eight respectively  using wsw`s ,cormorants and a yellow dancer.
In midweek things hotted up a bit more and Charlie Currin had eleven ,  M Roy from Monifieth twelve, Colin Bain eleven on buzzers, and Harry Ken out from “the town” nine.
The end of the week saw everything from big lures to tiny buzzers working .D Simpson netted fifteen, Ian Syme eleven and Stonehaven duo John Rench and Ed Ross twenty three between them on black cc`s.
Surface activity was not as pronounced as the previous week but trout could still be tempted up to the surface particularly in the evening. The fishery is still staying open until approximately  eight o`clock depending on the night so anglers can still enjoy a cast after work.
