Hi Folks,

Should have my new to me but s/h Barrio Lightweight rod arriving tomorrow..

Ever since i read the reviews etc. on these rods, I have been looking for one of them.  

Finally found one described as new, and bought it.  

Can't wait to get the reel and WF4F on it and have a play.  Will try it with that and also a DT3F and see what i prefer.

I will be popping on here to ask for advice and tips to get the most out of this rod that will be used both for small river and stillwater fishing.

Will let you know how i get on with it..

The rod arrived this afternoon..  not had a chance to try it out yet, but it is certainly a lovely looking rod, and not a single mark on it anywhere, doesn't look like its ever even been held. 

Superb build quality, and  love the tartan rod bag...

Feels very light, but def. not floppy.

Can't wait to get the reel on it and take it fishing!.
