I bought myself one on these 6`9" 3# Splt canes rods from China, something for the wee Browns on the Ythan. Can't be arsed with a real silk line, anyone have any experience of the Cortland Sylk lines ?

I have a 4wt and it is as good as any thing else, low memory, and a lot cheaper than a Terenzi for $180, I use mine with my 4wt graphite, easgach 1

Well I ordered the Sylk line form the US last Friday, arrived today, £33 inc p & p. Put it on a reel after work and had a cast on the front lawn with the Spilt Cane rod. Superb , really supple, turns over beautifully, really pleased with it.

I'll have it with me on Sunday if anyone fancies a cast.
