Milward cane rod!
« on: 28/05/2011 at 18:51 »
I came across a couple of old rods today, I bought them as they appear to be  brilliant condition.
One is a Milwards hex cane 8`3"  5 weight, 2 peice.

The other is I think a split cane about 7` 2"  (pretty certin).
It is a 2 peice, no name on it so I am sort of lost.
It has a trademark on it of a country gent wearing tweeds and fly fishing, very small. the middle joint has a 3/4 thred on it which secures to a fixed clip on the top half of the rod. Almost like a bayonet style. It feels very light compared to the first rod I mentioned.
That is about it, any info would be welcome, shoud I use them to fish or should I put them in a museam?
