This has to be the hardest fly I've ever tied. I practically went through an entire tippet collar to try and find the closest match for each pair of tippets.

yeah you could get away without the spey hackles in those sizes too

I think I'd still keep the hackle but I would use long fibred hen our schlappen hackle.

meant heron or spey cock hackles could be swopped for nice easily available hen
