Am testing out that nice new toy on the Sluie beat tomorrow - fingers crossed everyone, be nice to get a springer or three (I'm not greedy  :cool: )  :wink:

Sadly the day dawned bright and stayed that way with a bloody killer of a wind (for Sluie)  :cry:   Nice to get out and get some fishing done though  :z16  The new toy behaved admirably bearing in mind what was being asked of it wasn't necessarily part of the design - when the wind wasn't blowing a gale in my face 30+yds rattled out every cast  :cool:  
I did see 3 fish and connected with one briefly when trying out my chums 15ft Sage TCR but it fell off almost as immediately as it was on  :z6  
Bloody hard going today - maybe I'm getting soft  :shock:
Has inspired me to do more salmon fishing this season though  - just don't tell she who must be obeyed  :z4
