Can anybody recommend hen capes? I'm looking for some for tying some wee spiders and wet flies?  Probably iron blue, and black and maybe a ginger for good measure?

Cheers

Hi Matt, you'll get a real good selection at cooks hill flytying. They'll career for all your wet fly needs and small enough fibres for spiders.

they look great, lots of other stuff to get on there too! Might treat myself to a few capes and a waterhen skin!

cheers

I have one and it's beautiful, Steve also has some of the best partridge skins
available, if you drop him a line he can find stuff to suit what you want.
A good addition to any spidermans collection is a starling skin :wink
probably the most effective feathers for any small flies, IMHO
I would never be without one :z16
