A good settled weeks weather provided some good sport for anglers.the only line you needed was a floater and flies were centered mainly on Kate mclarens and suspender buzzers and cdc patterns.Lures were scruffs, but in the main it was small and black which proved the most successful.Evening sport has been exceptional.
Some of the tallies this week:-

Eddie Kane 10 and 11 fish best at 5lbs 4oz
Phil Hives    12
Seoras McIntosh 10 best at 3lbs
Mark Morrison 11
Jim Watt  19 fish
Andy Fraser 35 best a nice Brown at 2lb 8oz returned
Mike James 19
Ian Morrison 16
Ian Dick 12
Marc Moss 28
David reid 14  Both Colin Gauld and Jimmy george returned brownies upto 3lbs

There is only a few places left for the Scottish bank heat on sat 30th april an danyone interested please contact the fishery soonest to book your place tel 01340 831888.It is open to anyone who may wish to have a chance of qualifying for the final at Lochter in june and a chance of winning a place of representing Scotland in the Home international to be held in Ireland
