Went out to Ythan again today for couple of hours managed 4  although they were all around 4-5 inch, all caught on a spider.

So I'm well chuffed as this is my first wild fish on the river with the fly.

This is the first one I caught not sure if it's a brownie though as no red spots like the others had.

Hope so Iain, will concentrate on the brownies for the now everyone says it's end of May/June before you get any sea trout or salmon on the ythan.
