Bought these last time home and tried them out in some torrential rain and they stood up to the challenge well. They are ultra light and you really dont feel like you are wearing over trousers. Also got a pair of tay muck boots to finish the job off and another great bit of kit that i would highly recomend  .
Beats the old waders for keeping dry and i dare say they will be quite cool in the warmer months and not to clammy and hot to wear.
