All,

I'm trying to plan a day out at Mar Lodge in a few weeks time. Has anybody been lucky enough to fish up there? If so was it worth it?

Ben and I did back in 2009 - we caught fish.
Well.... Ben caught fish and I ran around with a camera

Lovely water and well worth a visit, I like it up there

Sounds remarkably similar to what happens when I go fishing with my mates......

Possibly a wee bit on the early side for that far upstream in the next few weeks, but you never know.

hopefully heading there in towards then end of May rather than April.

Should be more chance of a fish there in May, especially the second half of the month.
