Well, that's it for another year.................anyone make it out for Salmon today?

I fished for 4 hours on Saturday and in between the gusts it was a warm and pleasant day. Seen quite a few trout on the go (even managed to catch a couple of small Browns :oops).
A few Salmon showing but not much interested in my offerings.

Got quite a shock when this wee fella came to hand.

Still, I guess it's time to reflect and I'm wondering if anyone else thinks that it was a poor tail end.

I fished upper river a few weeks ago and middle river last Friday.  Upper river is normally stuffed full of fish at this time of year and I didn't see any fish moving at all?  Middle river was frustrating guys on the opposite bank catching fish, guys on my bank catching fish, I got one pull on a sunray and that was it.  It felt like a poor back end compared to last year.
