Looks like the water is running from right to left, which means it must be a west coast river ;)

Another Classic!  You 'tard  :z4

Does that not depend on which bank of the river you are standing on Rob? :z4

Hi,

I'd go with the Dee too , but only because of the direction it's running in .  :wink

Not sure of the beat but Ben could be spot on .

Another one from the library - name this loch if you can  :wink
One clue - it's not in Aberdeenshire.

Loch Lee?

It does not have a monster that I know of but isn't all that far away from a Loch which has reputably got more in it than the occasional Wellington bomber ......... :z17

To assist in the guesswork, as I appreciate there are one or two lochs in Scotland  :wink I can reveal that this Loch is not on the western side of the great glen. It's also not far from quite a good pike water and not that far from one of the few Rainbow fisheries in the area.
Twitchers have been known to congregate here and get all dewy eyed over a grebe.

Sorry Allan - it's not Loch Lee.

Hmmmmm  :roll That was a quote taken from an ex boss of mine at Shell when we were trying to work out where an old film had been filmed. Because the sea was on the left of the scene he was convinced it was the west coast. I hoped the wee wink would have given it away... :shock

No guesses guys?  Looks like we'll need a few clues Hamish (although tempted to guess the Alness)
